If you would like an estimate for repairs, restoration, or even redesigning of your furniture please get in touch with me by email or phone.

We can often provide a provisional estimate based on photographs. However, if this is not possible, I can make a site visit to view the furniture in person. This allows for better identification of the needed repairs/refurbishing etc. and allows for a better cost estimate as well.

Most work is done at my well-equipped workshop, but I also carry out on-site work in cases where a piece is too large to move or needs on-site restoration for some other reason.

Since I charge on the basis of time and materials you will always be paying a fair rate.

You can help me get you the best estimate

When you email me, please try to describe the extent of your damage in as much detail as possible and provide pictures as well. Here is a list of things that are helpful to include in your description:

  • structural damage (to what extent is your furniture damaged. Loose joints, missing parts (for example legs, armrest, etc…), peeling

  • your needs of the surface treatment (for example peeling of veneer, scratches, surface refinishing needed - paint or oil/wax?)

  • it is best to also send photos of the furniture including detailed photos of damaged parts of the furniture
